Renewal and track laying trains
7 renewal and track-laying trains in the GCF fleet.
All distinguished by power, versatility and performance. They include the special "La Meccanica" track-laying train, patented by GCF and designed and built specifically for the construction of High Speed lines.Matisa P95
High-efficiency renewal
High performance renewal train with a platform capable of loading 30 sleepers. It is equipped with 12 rail clamps that ensure perfect guidance along the entire machine through to their placement.
The tractive force developed by the 8 motorised axles means that the Matisa P95 can be used on very long sites without the need for additional wagons carrying sleepers.
The train pushes the wagons loaded with sleepers in front of it so that formation of the railbed, profiling and tamping of new track can be carried out directly behind the renewal work, thereby optimising the production process.
Comprising a chassis with three units (WF, WM, WES), the P95 ensures a high performance on large and medium sites for laying tracks and sleepers alike. If necessary, it can be used to replace only the rails or only the sleepers.
De-installation unit
The de-installation unit for old sleepers is distinguished by a sequence of simple movements as well as flexibility when removing simple or double old sleepers. Adaptation to different types of sleepers (wood, steel or concrete) is virtually instantaneous. Thanks to their dynamic plough, Matisa renewal trains operate silently without generating dust.
Laying new sleepers
Ensures the careful handling of sleepers (avoiding damage to cement versions) together with meticulous workmanship. The two positioning fingers can be controlled separately, thereby ensuring correct right-angled positioning of the sleepers in transitional sections and curves.
