Ballast cleaners
7 ballast cleaners, vital systems on every site.
The Matisa C411S, C90L and C75 are best compromise between dimensions and performance, site progress rate and the time needed for implementation.
The computerised driving system and automation devices help optimise performance in every work condition.
Matisa C411
Precise and tireless
The C411 ballast cleaner is a heavy-duty articulated machine built to meet railway standards and characterised by a simple, central duct ensuring easy maintenance and unmatched work precision that allows trains to circulate at 60 km/h immediately after ballast treatment.
Extremely effective, it has a driving speed of 80 km/h, it is easily positioned on site and achieves a production capacity of 750 m3/h.
The machine
The machine comprises a drive unit and a screen with two bogies and a ballast excavation unit with one bogie. The chassis frames of both units are in steel profiles that meet the strength conditions defined by UIC regulations.
Measurement system
The system, similar to that equipping the C90, includes sensors and high-precision electronics.
It controls the geometrical position displayed by the lifting clamp and the horizontal setting of the machine chassis and provides values that can be displayed and recorded in the work cab.
Engines
Electric engines drive conveyors and screens.
The excavation chain is driven by a variable speed hydraulic motor.
Work and transfer drive is hydraulic, as also the operation of the clamps and other auxiliary movements.
Two diesel engines with a total power of about 900 HP provide energy storage.
