Efficiency in safety for the last 2 construction sites of the year
GCF -Transalp Renouvellement Suite Rapide trains are at work, in Occitania and in the Rhône-Alpes region.
The two “quick construction sites”, the last of 2019 for lot 2 and lot 3, will extend the French sections with fully restored tracks for 158 km.
Electrification in progress of 100 km of railway
Works in progress, in Veneto, for a “greener” railway network. Pursuant to Framework Agreement 224, GCF is electrifying numerous single-track regional lines. A “multi construction site for sustainability” will deliver 10 stations and 100 km of completely electrified railway network.

GCF’s construction sites have opened for the first segment from Pristina to Macedonia
An official ceremony was held at the end of June, attended by the highest political authorities of Kosovo, to inaugurate the railway renewal project, one of the major infrastructural investments of the Balkan region. After a few weeks spent to execute preliminary studies, GCF’s construction site is now fully operational. Within two years, it will deliver a railway to Kosovo, fully rebuilt and truly “European”.
